A lot of things passed during the holidays and ever since 2009 ended, there had been new inspiring opportunities for creativity. I have done some sketching and also painting, but I haven’t really taken any pictures so I will leave you with some photographs of some part of my holiday that is considered artsy.

Completed the Brush Sets
The time has come yet again to update my art supplies. I bought quite a lot of stuff. And I decided to try on pastels again. I didn’t get the colorful ones though, since I am more into monochromacy.
Managed to complete the brush set too — Pointed, Round and Flat brushes… All the common sizes. I am very proud to have them. Hehe…
I’ve also arranged my study table. Basically there are like my art stuff only on the table. I don’t know where to put them. I don’t really have a place to mess around with artwork. So, since I am out of school and all, I turned my study table into my “messing around” table.
As you can see in the pictures here.
I would be on hiatus though, until the 2nd week of January. By that time, do expect some artwork from me. I will spend my holidays in Philippines and I would be touring around very much. So the photography series here will be updated.
Of course I will bring along my drawing stuff. Not all, just the “mobile” ones, so I can sketch and draw while touring.
I’m also leaving the designing of this site for last — cos, I’m sure it will take longer than the rest. I will however, do my best to make it fully work as soon as possible, after my holiday.
Since the writer’s block that other time, I resolved to giving things up with the pen and giving in to the artistic side of me and see what comes up. Those three short off days were the perfect opportunity.

The tea was well infused and — even so, I didn’t get to drink it until it lost all it’s heat. Darn. But I was so caught up with a drawing theme and that is “Break the Test-Tube” , I want to make a visual interpretation of the writing it self. I will be writing down the lyrics into the writings blog I have in this domain. Read the rest of this entry »

it doesn’t seem much in the picture but it really is red. And its hazy here again, forest fires here and there most probably. Hope everyone is ok. ^ ^
Like all girls…
I’ve had lots of stuffed toys and dolls back then… Some of these were already given away to some cousins, some I’ve lost…
(I’m such a bad mommy). Dad told me that when I was around 5-7 years old I had a collection of Barbie dolls, which… well, their fate was kind of terrible… Mizuki and I, I don’t know what went through our heads but we tore them apart, shave their heads, took off their limbs and exchange one Barbie limb with another, took their heads off…
I was mortified and amused at the same time that I heard of what happened. Poor Barbies… I guess, I’m just not into them.
But I did keep one doll. I had her since I was 8…
MY DAUGHTER… Her name is Iris…

Well… she didn’t use to look like this. Her clothes too were different. But anyway… like I said, I don’t know how my head used to work before I got the proper education… but yes, this became the fate of the now 16 year old Iris.
When I first painted her eyes and lips black… mom got so angry with me… She washed Iris in a washing machine (and of course I cried) — and Iris lost some of her hair.. So instead of the old pigtails, I have to bun her hair in two buns like so… She had changed ribbons since then. And this is kind of her final costume.

Mom wasn’t able to wash the ink away, so she told me to just throw it and we’ll get a new one…. But I didn’t want to throw Iris… not then, and not now too… I kept Iris. She is a model of myself. I use “Iris” as an author and artist name back then, and she was that erm… “persona” of it…
I had to get rid of her old clothes because it won’t fit her anymore because of embracing Goth as her religion. She has also from her 8th year of age, embraced immortality and since then was a vampire princess…
I’ve made her a coffin too, out of a clean shoe box and she fits really well in it…

See — ^ ^

This is where I put her to sleep beside me on my bed… She has been also a favourite of my niece Chie-chan, who … like me, has a taste for morbidity…

Hehe…
that’s my little princess there too! I want a daughter like her someday.
Here are my two other bed time pals…

This is my puppy — Yuichi , and my teddy — Yutaka
They are my guardians…
I can’t really have a pet of my own, because I’m allergic to furry animals. Even though these guys are also furry, they are quite harmless to me, because they don’t really have actual animal odors that triggers my asthma… I rarely hug them… They are just beside me on my bed…
I do get a little sneezy when I hug them for too long.

This is Yutaka being cute with my necklace…

Ahhh yes… My bed time pals…

who I dream away with…
My holiday is really going well so far…
I’ve been home since Thursday, and haven’t stepped outside the door and yet I feel good. Rejuvenated — I think, Easter is really working out good for me.
Thursday — I managed to get my stuff arranged. This means everything from Artwork to MP3s on the iPod.
Well, yesterday — Good Friday… Didn’t really do much but I did a lot of recollections. I watched Jesus of Nazareth and Passion of the Christ again with the family like we always do every Holy Week.
Today — I drew and paint again… I got them uploaded in the gallery, so just take a sneak peek on them. I think — I have released a lot of stresses on them, and made my points. I feel good right after doing them.

Then Mizuki had a new composition — it is something we have never done before but I think it is beautiful. I hope we get to put it all down together. It will be a combination of the usual Dernier Quart sound (that new kind of rock metal with gothic ambience to it) plus a little extra and that is TRADITIONAL JAPANESE element to it.
I got excited when I heard the melody and immediately thought of that dream I had a few weeks before — the night under the full moon, sea breeze blowing… a little snow in the midst of early spring and blossoms scattered everywhere. And that FIRST KISS *ehem*.
It fits — like a glove… And I can’t wait for you guys to hear it, even if we just record a sample of it…
AHHHH!!! I will greet the Easter Day tomorrow with a smile…
This…
had been really ALL GOOD!
TO YA’LL…
HAVE A HAPPY JOYFUL — EASTER…
To all those who celebrates… Gong Xi Fa Chai!!! — specially to all my Chinese friends, in real life and in myspace. Have a blessed new year — the year of the ox is a time to work hard… and reap good harvest in the end. Grab all its opportunities and make the most of it.

Don’t forget to have a look-out for the Solar Eclipse: 26 Jan 2009 that will be around sunset… in Asia — Hongkong/Philippines/Brunei/Singapore time…

my patent nail polishing…

yes i do love them specially hide…
Here is a little something from Mizuki-chan and I…

We were —erm let’s say being X-Japan fans as we are and also preparing for the New Lunar Year… This is Mizuki-chan’s idea. But all the Mandarin Orange photos are by me… enjoy…

Here is also some decor from my workplace… yeah I work in a big company doing office job… but what I really want is live a rocking wasted life of a ROCKSTAR.
